I can't tell you how excited I am to head back to this evening again! I'm a huge fan of all (well, most) things chocolate... if you're like me, this is the place to be!
Here are the details:
On Saturday, January 18, 2014, 360 Youth Services will be hosting the 11th Annual Chocolate Festival at the Neuqua Valley Freshman Center in south Naperville, from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
The Chocolate Festival is a day long festival of chocolate and fun for all ages. When you enter the Chocolste Festival, you can smell the aroma of chocolate from the front door! Fifteen of the area’s local vendors come together to share samples of their business, and to put smiles on the faces of our event attendees! The Vendor’s Room is the most popular place during the Chocolate Festival. Besides the Vendor’s Room, there are also two roooms of demonstrations: Kids in the Kitchen and our Adult Demo Room, We also have live entertainment which showcases our local talent, from dance troops to martial arts preformances to magicians and our ever popular cookie stacking contest. Another popular place at the event is the Family Activity Room. There is no better place to have fun during the Chocolate Festival than in the Family Activity Room. From bouncers to face painting to balloon twisting and playing with the activities of the DuPage Children’s Museum. If you want to play like a kid, then the Family Activity Room is the place to be! Last but certainly never least at the Chocolate Festival is the Sweet Treats Baking Competition. People of all ages and talent have entered one of the best baking competitions in the western surburbs. Several local judges have the “difficult” task of judging cakes, cookies, bars and brownies. But the best part… once the judging is over, our guests have the opportunity to taste all of the event entries!
Afforable Fun for Everyone: Adults $7\Seniors $5\Students $3\Children under 5 are FREE!
I will be a judge in the Sweet Treats Banking Competition (they had to twist my arm, haha). Hope to see you there! :)
