The Capitol Steps originated in 1981 when a group of senate staffers decided to satirize the the people that employed them.  These equal opportunity spoofers put he "mock" in democracy.  No matter who's in the headlines, Capitol Steps is an equal opportunity offender.  They hit both sides of the aisle with their incredible wit and unique performance.
