Weather Alert

18 years ago I took a week off work to do this….

I love the videos of Scott and Danielle in Punta Cana.  I was thinking of joining them this year, especially because I need a vacation from my other job!  However, when they announced the dates I thought, “Any week but that week”!  The dates they are gone are the exact dates I had off in 2001 to get married…and it would seem weird to spend my Anniversary with Scott and Danielle!  What a stupid choice that was.  Now I will spend my Anniversary here in the frigid cold on Tuesday and probably not get out of work at my other job until 6pm and have to wait until the weekend to celebrate anyway.  I was able to get the old man to look at some of our wedding photos and now I can bore you with them, too!  It’s crazy to think that if we had Baby Beretta back then we could be done parenting this year!  ( My bad decisions keep piling up )

The Aerosmith Roller Coaster was my favorite ride.  Back in 2001 I was still working at 105.7, WAPL-The Rockin’ Apple so it was required that I try it out for show prep!  Plus I remember checking every shop for souvenirs for Rick, John & Jim!

I still have the cake topper with Mickey and Minnie on display somewhere in my house.  That cake was delicious but I wasn’t sure what to do with the rest of it on the day we had to leave…so I left it under the bed.

Getting married at Walt Disney World was a ton of fun, and getting access to their wedding planners was well worth it.  We had a smaller ceremony but they made sure we had all the extravagant details you would get if you booked the fancy weddings in Cinderella’s Castle!!  Check out my hair.  A hair stylist came to my hotel suite in the Wilderness Lodge and created that up-do.  She was a cast member that creates wigs for some of the princesses.  That hair was my favorite part of the wedding, but taking out 7,000 bobby pins was a bit of a chore.

Later today we will take BB to Disney on Ice!  It will be a reunion with my favorite groomsman, Goofy!
