3 Killed when an Amtrak Train Derails on its way to Chicago

Three people are dead and dozens more are hurt after an Amtrak train derailment in northern Missouri.  Amtrak says a train traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago derailed yesterday after hitting a dump truck at a public crossing near Mendon.  Two passengers and the truck driver were killed.  More than 200 people were on board the train at the time of the crash.  The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
