30 Day Music Challenge - Day 6

So yesterday was super fun … I should have known we all had our “go to” Play It Loud song. There were some truly great songs suggested that I totally agree needed to be played as loud as possible.

So we are onto Day 6 of the 30 Day Music Challenge and this one involves you popping on your boogie shoes. This is all about which songs make you groove … which songs make you form an instant dance circle in your living room with your mates. Day 6’s Music Challenge question is … A song that makes you want to dance.

So for me my best dance moves took place in the eighties. (I still have some pretty wicked moves but my ability to dance for hours in night clubs until the sun rose took place in the eighties and nineties). So when I saw today’s question, one band came to mind. New Order. When I hear the first few beats of most New Order songs I am on my feet and hitting the dance floor (I must remember to request them at River Prom this year!) However Bizarre Love Triangle in particular was my dancing jam. The lyrics are amazing, the beat rules and it just takes me back to all that teenage angst and awesomeness that we all go through.

So Day 6 of the 30 Day Music Challenge… I give you New Order’s Bizarre Love Triangle.
