I love creative marketing, and this is top notch stuff from Open Outcry Brewing Company up on the Southside.
If you are unfamiliar, Dry January is a concept where people, after a few holiday-themed months of over indulging, take a break from drinking for a month. A noble endeavor, no doubt, but that could effect the bottom line of some of our local establishments in what’s already a tough economic time!
So…the people at Open Outcry have released this tongue-in-cheek PSA:
Now, let’s not get all 2021 and bash them for being anti-health or anything. I can tell you that’s not the case. This is a joke meant to drum up some engagement and hopefully business! And I think they nailed it.
