A Federal Task Force Recommends Screening All Kids For Anxiety And Depression.

The pandemic has had so many negative effects on all of us. Death being those most prolific for almost a million Americans with over 78 million COVID cases being reported. The isolation and quarantine that we’ve all had to endure has been pretty overwhelming, but I think the kids have suffered the most. It’s much harder to make young ones understand why they can’t go to school and why they can’t be with their friends. The isolation that children have felt is something that seems to be effecting kids in a big way. The rising rates of anxiety, depression and even suicide are very alarming and experts think we need to screen kids of all ages on a regular basis for signs of any of these issues.

Regular screening for anxiety in their doctor’s office is one way to help kids before their troubles escalate.
