Ray Charles passed away at the age of 73. During his 45 year career, Ray appeared on the US Pop charts 77 times, with 33 of those songs making the Top 40.

Former Journey lead singer Steve Perry revealed that he had recently undergone treatment for melanoma and that his prognosis was good.
