An Ex-Proud Boy from Aurora gets Prison Time for the Attack on Our Capital

An Aurora man who was a member of the far-right group the Proud Boys is going to prison for assaulting a police officer during the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol in 2021.  James Robert Elliott was sentenced to 37 months behind bars for assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers after pleading guilty.  He was accused of using a flagpole to assault officers while illegally on the Capitol grounds.
