Are You Ready For Some Football?

Hi this is Leslie Harris, and I don’t mind admitting that I am not a sports person. I cheer when one of our Chicago teams is doing well, and I’m disappointed when they’re not, but I don’t have too much invested in the whole thing. Imagine my surprise when I found out that football is starting today, one week afterthe Super Bowl!

The XFL is back, and officials are saying it’s better than ever. Here’s what I know about the XFL.

There are currently 8 teams in the league. none in Chicago. They’re planning on having shorter breaks in between plays, therefore getting the game done in under 3 hours, there’s no more extra point kick, and the double forward pass will be allowed, if the first pass is completed behind the line of scrimmage. I have no idea what that means, but it sounded good, right?

Will you be watching the XFL? It sounds to me like it might be a fun game to watch.
