I was up all last night freakin’ out about my water pipes. The last thing I need is a burst pipe and the aftermath!

I was able to identify the most possible culprit if it were to happen: the pipe leading out to the exterior spigot. I only have one other water line that runs up an exterior wall, but that is right next to the furnace, which is warm enough to fend off the frost.

So, how do you keep a pipe warm that is up in a crawl space? I’m not sure how a professional would do it, but this is what I came up with! As long as the pipe doesn’t sweat and drip down on the lamp, we’re good!

I’d love to see any of your creative solutions to the cold weather issues we are all dealing with today!
