Aurora Looks From Within

Hi it’s Leslie Harris, and on Monday we got the news that Aurora Chief of Police Kristen Ziman will be taking her retirement on August 6th. (Side note, I thought Chief Ziman looked a bit young to be retiring. She is. Even though she’s been on the force for 30 years, she started when she was only 17 years old)

Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin said his search for her replacement will start right within the Aurora Police department. He said, we like to look internally because we believe we have very qualified individuals already working in the police department so we’ll start that search coming up real soon.”
