Leslie Harris here, and one of my favorite holiday tradition is attending the Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theater.

I’ve seen this production more times than I can remember, and it never loses its magic. It is dark, thought-provoking, but also humorous, whimsical, and hopeful.

Larry Yando has played Scrooge in The Goodman’s production 10 times, and he embodies every nuance of the character – he IS Scrooge. Molly Brennan delightfully reprises her role as the spriteley Ghost of Christmas Past, Paris Strickland is sweet and charming as Tiny Tim, Jasmine Bracey once again steals the show as the brash, hilarious and straight-talking Ghost of Christmas present. This is truly a show that the entire family will enjoy. The costumes are exquisite, and the minstrels add even more magic to this production.

Be sure to catch a Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theater on North Dearborn in Chicago now through December 29th. Get tickets HERE
