Can Superman Withstand a Rotten Tomato Attack?

This is devastating news for all Superman lovers. According to a recent study, Superman has been ranked as the most hated superhero movie franchise.  What?!

Study officials said that they used Rotten Tomatoes scores and the average critical response for each movie in a franchise. For example, Iron Man, Captain America both fall under The Avengers franchise.

Here are the Top 5 most hated superhero movie franchises:

1. Superman
2. Batman
3. DC Extended Universe
4. Wolverine
5. X-Men

The Top 5 most loved superhero movie franchises are:

1. The Incredibles
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Captain America
4. Avengers
5. Deadpool

I don’t know about you, but I see a pattern here.  More than half of the loved franchises have more than a little bit of a humourous edge.  So people prefer laughing to watching a bunch of killing.  Or more accurately, they prefer laughing along with the killing.
