One of the best things about school were, without question, SNOW DAYS. There was nothing better than waking up and seeing the deep blanket of snow, knowing there is no way we have school today. It was so awesome as a kid to know the day was yours to build snow forts, play king of the hill and of course, the snowball fight.
Well, if all schools follow suit, there may be no more snow days! (see below)
For a school kid, nothing beats a snow day. But in Pennsylvania, they might soon be a thing of the past. The State just passed a new law that allows schools to deliver lesson plans for students to complete at home, turning snow days into “flexible instruction days.”
The only upside is that the snow day would count as a regular school day and woudn’t get tacked on to the end of the school year.
Good or bad idea?
