Check out Stone Gossard’s new band!

Hey, it’s Rich Dale.  For a while now, Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard has had a big side project he’s been working on — a whole new band.  It’s called “Painted Shield” and features former Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain, folk singer Mason Jennings, and vocalist/keyboardist Brittany Davis.  Their self-titled debut album was released on November 27th

Gossard said the decision to form “Painted Shield” was easy.  “I love making music, and I especially love collaborating with other musicians.”

I tried looking up their album and from what I could tell, I’m not sure it’s really available in any non-digital form.  There seemed to be a vinyl version up for about $100, but that doesn’t count, right?
