Christkindlmarket Aurora Is Back at RiverEdge Park This Winter!
The Christkindlmarket celebrates its second year at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, opening on Friday, November 17, running through Sunday, December 24, 2023.
The Christkindlmarket Aurora days and hours are:
Thursdays: 11am – 7pm
Fridays & Saturdays: 11am – 9pm
Sundays: 11am – 6pm
Special Hours:
Monday (Dec. 18) – Wednesday (Dec. 20): 11am – 7pm
Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) & Christmas Eve (Dec. 24): 11am – 4pm

The Christkindlmarket Aurora increased its sitemap and will sparkle and shine even more this season with festive, interactive photo ops and scavenger hunts for the whole family.
To celebrate three months out, German American Events, LLC (the event planners for all three Christkindlmarkets) came up with a “Christmas in August” special: Three giveaways with one hotel partner per Christkindlmarket location. The Christkindlmarket Aurora giveaway is provided by the Holiday Inn Express. More information can be found on the Christkindlmarket Location Announcement Blog and upcoming social media posts.
People can participate daily on Instagram for a chance to enter and win on August 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2023.
More details about vendors, events as well as hotel and parking specials will become available throughout the next couple of weeks on the Christkindlmarket website. Each Chicagoland has a “Plan Your Visit” section that will continuously be updated.
“We are excited to have all our staple vendors back at Daley Plaza, and proud to announce that we were able to add many new ones to our two other locations! Visitors get to shop from more than 50 vendors in Aurora and more than 40 in Wrigleyville, including staples like Sweet Castle but also local and international food and merchandise booths that are unique to these markets,” says CEO and General Manager Maren Biester Priebe.
Special free and ticketed events will take place at all three markets. They will be announced at the end of September. This year’s mugs and merchandise will be revealed in October. Visitors will be able to purchase the beloved souvenir items at all locations.
