COVID!! Young Or Old It Affects Us All.
As we move forward with vaccinations and the lowering of COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths there are many things we need to keep in mind. I heard Dr. Fauci say on TV this morning “Don’t spike the ball on the 5 yard line. Let’s get to the end zone first.” He means even with the vaccines and the downward trends of coronavirus cases we still need to be vigilant and not let our guard down. Wear the masks, keep your gatherings limited and socially distance. I have friends and family members who’ve said they’re not really interested in getting vaccinated. This to me is worrisome. Many younger folks seem to feel that they aren’t really in danger from COVID because so many of the deaths are either people with pre existing conditions or simply older and therefore more vulnerable. Younger, healthier adults are just not that likely to have a bad case of the virus. Well I read this story about healthy twin 29 year old sisters and it really struck me. Please read it and take to heart what the message says.
