Create Your Own Fun!

Hi this is Leslie Harris, and a few years ago, I started hosting bar trivia. It was something to do while I was out of a radio job, and I continued to do it while I was working part-time here at 95.9 The River.

I got to be pretty good friends with the people on one of my regular teams, so during the quarantine, one of the players came up with an idea to play trivia over Zoom.

If you haven’t used Zoom, I highly recommend you check it out. There are different levels, but the most basic level is free, and you can have a video call with several people at the same time.

The way we have adapted our trivia question is that each person picks a category, and then writes four or five questions, and then we take turns being the trivia host. (So far, my category has always been classic rock, but next time, I think I might switch it up) There are no actual prizes, but it’s a lot of fun, and it’s really good to see all of those familiar faces.
