Cruising. Yes or No?

Hi, it’s Leslie, and I just got back from my first cruise ever. It was a lot of what I expected, and some of what I did not. My buddy Scott Childers takes a lot of cruises, and absolutely loves them. He gave me a heads up about a bit of what to expect. (As did many other people)

One of the things I’ve always heard about cruises is how great the food is. Well, there was a lot of food, but I wouldn’t call it great. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t have anything on the ship that I would rave about.

We cruised the inside passage of Alaska, which was stunningly beautiful, but we were on the ship for 3 days. Honestly, I got a bit bored. There were activities such as exercise classes in the early morning. (I don’t do early mornings) nature presentations about the area, which I enjoyed, trivia games and classes like origami. I like to stay active, and it was all just a bit too sedate for my taste

One of my friends thinks I should try cruising again. What do you think? Do you love cruises? Do you hate them? Let me know in the comments.
