Cyber Monday – Yes Please! Or NO WAY?

Hi this is Leslie Harris, and today is Cyber Monday. Many of the experts are saying that we won’t see deals like the ones were seeing today for many months to come.

Of course Cyber Monday is all about shopping online, and most of the online retailers have fantastic deals on electronics, clothing, kitchen appliances, pet supplies, and really just about anything you can think of.

Historically, I have not participated in sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In fact, this last Friday I did go shopping, both online and at a couple of stores. Unfortunately, nothing I wanted or needed was on sale, and I haven’t done any shopping today.

I’m not one to spend a lot of money on electronic gadgets. Our TV is about 5 years old, and honestly, it serves our needs just fine. Sure having a bigger screen would be nice, but it’s definitely not a priority, and definitely not anything I want to spend money on. My laptop is only about a year old, and again, I don’t have to have the latest and greatest equipment. The one idea I am toying with is getting a new phone, and I still have a few more hours to pull the trigger on that. But again, I don’t have to have the latest one, and the high-end ones seem to be the ones that have the great sales today. So I may just pass on Cyber Monday, even though I have some long sets of music coming up, which would give me time to shop.
