Director of "The Last Dance" Working on a New Elvis Documentary

Netflix is releasing a new documentary on Elvis Presley.

The documentary will be directed by Jason Hehir, who is best known for the Michael Jordan docuseries ‘The Last Dance.’

Hehir said of working on an Elvis doc, “I’ve been fascinated with that guy my whole life because I know there’s a human being underneath that two-dimensional facade we see culturally. It’s always been an interest of mine.”

The project has been in the works since 2023 and has yet to be given a title nor a release date.
