Hi this is Leslie Harris. Happy Halloween! Halloween is also known as All Hallows Eve and goes back about 2,000 years, to pre-Christian times. It was a Celtic Festival held around November 1st and it was originally called Samhain, pronounced sah-win, which can translate to ‘Summer’s end’ in Gaelic. It was a time to celebrate the end of the Harvest year, but also to get the crops and animals ready for winter.

It was also a traditional time of communing with deceased loved ones. Many people still believe that the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest at this time of year.

Do you believe in the Supernatural? What about what it pertains to Halloween? Have you ever had contact with a deceased person, or any other inexplicable phenomenon like that?

Let me know in the comments!
