Hey, it’s John Calhoun.  It’s that time of year when you get the furnace cleaned, take out the winter clothes, put snow scrapers/brushes in your car, gas up the snow blower, etc.

There are also things that need to be put away. Shorts, sandals, deck furniture, garden hoses, lawn mowers and boats.

Although I don’t own a boat, I do have a car that gets treated like one. It’s a 2009 model with only 12,000 miles. As of today, it’s once again in hibernation.

It may be a cold, snowy winter. However, next spring, the birds, flowers and warm sunny days will return. That’s when I’ll fire it up and hit the streets once again.
