Do You Open Presents On Christmas Eve?

When I was younger, we would get together with extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) and I would get to open a gift or two from them.  Now that I am older, I do not have as many people to buy gifts for, so we usually wait for Christmas morning.

I know a lot of families have a tradition where the kids get to open 1 present on Christmas Eve.  Maybe I am a bit more traditional…but I like waiting.  This year however, I have a new person in my life and I got a few presents from her that I had to open yesterday.  They had special meaning for each of us and it was a nice way to just spend some quality time with each other.
