Dogs that can sniff out COVID? What’ll they think of next!

Well, they can sniff out cancer, so why not?  Since changes in health can subtly affect the way people smell, Finland is starting a pilot program at the Helsinki airport to help determine if dogs can sniff out COVID-19.

Health officials in Dubai started using dogs to analyze sweat samples from randomly selected air travelers with over 90% accuracy!  In Helsinki, the plan is to use the same method on a larger scale.  Since it’s just dogs sniffing, results can come in ten seconds!
