Gettng Some Business Done, Having Some Fun, Making a Difference
Hey it’s Leslie, and getting papers shredded can be pricey. There is a a fun event for families tomorrow, and oh yeah, they’ll be helping senior citizens as well as kids, and oh yeah, they will be doing paper shredding too. The Humanitarian Service Project’s Shred and Stock goes on from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 465 Randy Road in Carol Stream.
This is a fun event with treats, music and balloon animals for the kids. You can also tour the Humanitarian Service Project’s facility.
For each item you donate, you can shred a box of paper. You can also make a $5 donation for each box to be shredded.
The items that are most needed are cereal, pasta and sauce, soup, canned fruits and veggies, peanut butter and jelly, laundry detergent, dish soap and cleaning supplies. Board games, action figures, model car kits, sports equipment, art and crafts kits, science kits, and Legos are greatly appreciated as are Target and Walmart gift cards.
