Easter hops in on Sunday. Do you celebrate the Bunny or Jesus or all of the above?

Easter is another confusing holiday.  Jesus or the Easter Bunny or both?  I think we have always done it all.  Lots of traditions during this Holiday and here they are…

The Easter Bunny Hall of Fame, located in Greenville, Texas, is famous for its Monica Lewinsky Chocolate Bunnies. The Hall has also created chocolate likenesses of the Avatar characters, Troy Aikman, Elvis, Michael Jordan and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The National Food Administration says consumers shouldn’t think about what’s in their Easter candy when they’re eating it. Some red candies get their color from dried insects, while other candies are held together with pig gelatin.

Most people have Christmas trees. Volker Kraft has an easter one that is decorated with over 10,000 brightly colored eggs. The German retiree says, “There will be no increase because I do not have storage capacity anymore. I would have to sleep with the eggs otherwise.”

This year, many people will eat Spam instead of ham at their Easter Sunday dinner. The average price of a 6-ounce can is $2.62, or 44 cents an ounce. A regular ham costs 70 cents an ounce.

The National Retail Federation says more than 1 billion Easter eggs are hunted in the United States each year. Other Easter stats from the NRF:

A survey by Asda reveals that moms will spend 13 hours cleaning, cooking and preparing for Easter. Other findings:

– 21% of people will argue over stolen Easter eggs

– 12% of people will argue about broken Easter Eggs

– 11% of people will complain about not getting enough chocolate for Easter

– 13% of people will complain about cleaning up on Easter
