 Elvis Presley’s movie career took a turn for the worse when his film Kissin’ Cousins is released. Completed in just 17 days, the picture was widely panned by critics, but as always, fans flocked to theaters to see their idol.

John Lennon’s visa extension is cancelled by the New York Office of the US Immigration Department, just five days after it was granted.
