Cardboard Boat Races at Yorkville River Fest 2023

Join us at Riverfront Park (131 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville) on Friday, July 14 for the annual Cardboard Boat Races!
Registration opens at 5:00pm on Friday, July 14, and is $10/boat. Boats must arrive completely built and ready to go when you arrive.
Best in Show Competition judging begins at 5:30pm. Dazzle the judges with your cardboard creativity! Have fun and be creative for this part of the competition!
Boat Speed Race begins at 6:30pm. Do you have the need for speed? Do you have what it takes to captain your corrugated creation? Get your cardboard creation gliding down the Fox River the fastest and you could be the winner of the Cardboard Boat Race!
Participants age 10+ are welcome to join in the fun (helmets, life vests, and paddles will be supplied).
