
Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents The Music of Star Wars

It will be an otherworldly musical experience when the Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents “The Music of Star Wars” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin, Ill. Audience members are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character for this one-night-only performance.
Guest Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez will lead the Symphony in selections from “A New Hope,” “The Phantom Menace,” “The Force Awakens,” “Rogue One,” and other Star Wars movies. Lopez-Yañez, who recently conducted the ESO’s “Latin Fire” concert, is known for his playful and lively podium presence as he encourages audience participation. This concert promises music you know and a performance that is out of this world.
Tickets start at $20 and are available on the ESO’s website, www.ElginSymphony.org, and, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, by calling its box office at 847-888-4000. Student tickets are $10, and youth age 17 and under are free with an accompanying adult, limit one free youth ticket per adult ticket purchase.
