Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater

Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater, in residence at Northeastern Illinois University, under the dynamic leadership of Irma Suarez Ruiz, artistic director and Jorge Perez, executive director, celebrate its 48th anniversary season as the premier Spanish Dance Company and Center in the United States.

The company’s mission is the preservation, presentation and promotion of the classical, folkloric, flamenco and contemporary dance and music traditions of Spain. The Ensemble Español is comprised of 30 dancers, singers, musicians and guest artists.
