Geneva Historic House Tour
July 21 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$35The Geneva History Museum presents a Historic House Tour from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. This is a chance to explore four homes in downtown Geneva and to learn the stories of who built them and lived in them. Enjoy this rare opportunity to walk through the homes and view their unique character.
The four homes on the tour include an 1850’s simple limestone house at 301 South First Street, a unique pre-Civil War structure that served as a piano store and later a school at 328 South Sixth Street, a mid-century modern home where the first Apple computer games were created at 521 Hamilton Street, and one of the first homes remodeled by the locally famed Wilson Brothers contractors at 418 Ford Street.
Tours are self guided and the homes may be visited in any order. The Geneva History Museum will be open that day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is included in the ticket price, as well as a swag bag of offers from museum partners. Tickets are $35/person, $30/museum member and $45/person after July 15. All proceeds benefit the Geneva History Museum, a nonprofit organization with a mission to share and preserve Geneva’s evolving story while engaging and inspiring the community.
