Inaugural Braidwood Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk

The inaugural Braidwood Memorial Day 5K, presented by Constellation, will take place on Saturday May 27, 2023 with all proceeds from the event benefiting Honor Flight of Chicago.

The race will begin and end in the Braidwood City Park with the course winding thru the residential streets surrounding the park. Registration will begin at 6am. Run will begin at 9am.

Registration fee is $30.00 (+$3.86 signup fee). Registration is capped at 2,500 participants. Walkers are also welcome to participate.

This will be a chip timed race on a certified course and awards will be presented in each of the following age groups:
15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

There will be additional activities taking place in the park before and after the race.
