North Aurora Firefighters Association annual turkey raffle

The North Aurora Firefighters Association will hold its annual turkey raffle on Friday, November 17th and Saturday, November 18th from 6:00 pm. to midnight. The raffle will be held in the apparatus storage and maintenance building just north of Station #1 on Monroe Street.

Firefighters will be raffling off turkeys, steaks, and pork loins both evenings. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the night with free soda pop for designated drivers. We will also have great entertainment with a DJ providing music both nights.

We are currently selling 50/50 raffle tickets with the winning ticket to be drawn on November 18th at the end of the evening (winner need not be present). Tickets are available now for $5.00 and are being sold by any North Aurora Firefighter or at NAFD Station 1. 50/50 raffle tickets will also be drawn every half hour during both nights of the event for a progressive raffle of your choice of meat (winner must be present).

Proceeds from this event will go back into the community by supplementing our Public Education efforts. The Association also provides financial assistance to local charities, civic groups and offers annual college scholarships to graduating high school students from North Aurora.
