Saddle Up line dancing Fundraiser for injured Illinois State Trooper Brian Frank

My name is Lauren Frank and I am writing to request your support for my husband’s traumatic brain injury
recovery fund, via the Got Your 6 Foundation, an Illinois State Trooper run nonprofit organization
committed to supporting first responders and their families after a traumatic event or line of duty death.
Illinois State Trooper, Brian Frank, was in a catastrophic crash during a snowstorm in February of 2021, and
suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that has left him minimally conscious and permanently totally
disabled. After 3.5 years, traditional medicine and worker’s comp is only able to provide care to sustain his
day-to-day needs and decline to support any supplementary care that might aid in his progress. Since no
two brain injuries are alike and the outcome is unpredictable, we have no choice but to pay out of pocket
if we wish to pursue additional care. We know the brain is capable of rewiring, and since he is young and
otherwise healthy, we have hope and are passionate about giving him every opportunity to fight.
Last year, we discovered Dr. Brandon Crawford’s clinic in Austin, Texas, called NeuroSolutions, that works
exclusively with TBI patients like Brian. They offer stem cell therapies in addition to other modalities that
work together to promote healing. Their practice and protocols have been clinically proven to get results
by combining neuroscience and cutting edge technologies to treat even the most severe patients. They
said ‘yes’ to treating Brian when almost every other clinic turned us away. We went for one month in 2023
and saw lots of improvement, which led to us making the decision with Dr. Crawford to come back for
three consecutive months of treatment in order to build more momentum in Brian’s recovery in hopes
that he will emerge to full consciousness.
As we strive to raise enough funds to relocate and pay for treatment, we rely heavily on the generosity of
donors like you. We are reaching out to request your consideration of sponsoring our upcoming fundraiser
event on September 21st, 2024 at Saddle Up Saloon in Aurora, IL. Any monetary support will go directly to
making this second trip possible, in addition to covering our overhead costs to host these events.
Your contribution and support would be invaluable to our family and our efforts to get Brian his life back
after all that he has sacrificed. In return, we would be happy to offer tickets to attend the event,
recognition for being a donor in all promotional materials, social media, and banners at any/all future
events. We will also provide a receipt for the value of the donation for tax purposes.
