Join the United City of Yorkville for the annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2023!
Grab your chairs and join us for the Independence Day Parade! The festivities begin with the parade at 9:00am, beginning at the Yorkville High School (Game Farm Rd, Yorkville), and ending the parade route at Town Square (301 N Bridge St., Yorkville).
Have a business or organization that you want to advertise for in Yorkville? It is free to add a float, drive your car, or walk in the Yorkville Independence Day parade! Participants do not need to register in advance. Line-up begins at 7:30am at YHS, and is first come, first placement in line.
Immediately following the parade, families are encouraged to join in the activities at Town Square! Food vendors, children’s foot races (10:30am), and more! Activities at the park will run until about 1:00pm.
Don’t forget to join us for the fireworks at the intersection of Rt 47 and Countryside Pkwy at dusk!
