Facebook Might Have Kept Your Password In An Easy-To-Read Text File

Facebook it dealing with yet another backlash over the way it handles sensitive user data.  This time, the social media company admits it kept hundreds of millions of user passwords in plain text files that could be accessed and read by employees!

Facebook says there’s no evidence that employees “internally abused or improperly accessed” the passwords, but says they’ve fixed the issue and plan to notify the roughly 600 million users affected.

Perhaps it’s time for a password change?
