Flying Somewhere For Thanksgiving? Be Prepared!

Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday for several reasons. One there’s no pretense or expectations except for the food…and maybe a Bears victory. The gathering of the clan is one that I’ve always enjoyed and welcomed. This year my daughter Jennifer and her crew are coming in from Cleveland and I think my son Mitchell will be making an appearance, flying in from LA. I have much to thankful for and one of the biggest reasons is that I’m not flying anywhere. Apparently, a whole bunch of you are. As of Nov. 7, bookings for Thanksgiving week flights are up 78% over last year, and they’re even slightly ahead of 2019, up 3.2% from pre-pandemic levels.
