Geordi for Geopardy!

I guess they’re still looking for a permanent new host for Jeopardy!  Well, I guess I’m not the only one who thinks that a great host would be LeVar Burton.  Yes, I’m talking about Kunta Kinte, Geordi La Forge, and best of all, host of Reading Rainbow for 21 seasons!

Those first two roles show off his serious acting chops, but on Reading Rainbow, he proved that he was intellectual yet relatable.  And what more could you want in a host for what’s widely regarded as one of the most intelligent game shows out there?

A petition is circulating on change.org calling for Burton to be considered for the job.  At first Burton wasn’t too optimistic about his chances but then changed his mind about the position.  Last Monday, he reposted the link to the petition with the caption, “Leaving this here in the event the powers that be are listening…”
