Green Day banned from Las Vegas radio stations after trashing city on stage

Late last week, Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong made some very strong comments about Las Vegas during his band’s show in the Bay Area.

The comments tied into the band’s opinion on the A’s leaving Oakland and moving to Las Vegas but Billie Joe Armstrong took things a little far.

He said, “I f****** hate Las Vegas. It’s the worst s***hole in America.”

Not sure why he is blaming Vegas in all of this, but two Vegas radio stations now say his comments crossed the line.

KOMP 92.3 announced on their Facebook page that any and all Green Day has been pulled from its playlist. X 107.5 also revealed that it’s banning all Green Day music, effective immediately, saying that the entire station was sanitized from Green Day songs.
