Happy Birthday Freddie Mercury … What is your favorite Queen track?

Happy Birthday Freddie!   Freddie Mercury  who was born Farrokh Bulsara on 5 September 1946 was a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and of course the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Regarded as one of the greatest lead singers in the history of rock music, he was not only an inspiration to countless musicians who came after him … he was universally loved by all.

Although Freddie has inspired many artists he was a one in a million … there will never be another performer like Freddie.   So of course we had to honor him tonight with the music challenge.   Choosing your favorite Queen track is no easy task.  They have songs for every mood and they are all a part of your life soundtrack.  So although I did pick a song … I have to say I did so while so many other great tracks wove through my head.   From the 1978 album Jazz it was released as a single in 1979 and of course written by Freddie.   I just love this song … it has helped get me going on days when I need a little push.  Full of motivation … this is such a great song …
