Peter Gabriel was born in London on February 13, 1950. At the age of 16, he became the lead singer of Genesis.
Peter left the group in 1975 and went on to achieve incredible success. A few examples: three Brit awards six Grammy awards and thirteen MTV music video awards. He’s also been involved in a number of humanitarian efforts over the years. In 2008, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
