Happy Home Opener Cubs Fans. Here Are The New Items You’ll Find at the Friendly Confines

It’s the 103rd time, it’s opening day for the Cubs at Wrigley Field. While you still get that old-timey vibe when you get that first peek of the incredible green of the Wrigley Field grass, there are a lot of new additions to the ballpark at Clark and Addison.

First, there is a new seat numbering system in place. Make sure you pay attention to the signs so you don’t end up in the wrong place. Want to check it out before you go? Here’s the info: NEW SEATING SYSTEM

Expanded selection of craft beer and local brews

Fans can sip new flavors and varieties of beer, cider, wine and spiked seltzer this season:

  • More than a dozen new draft and packaged craft beer selections will be served across the venue from breweries with Chicago and Midwest roots
  • Alongside domestic draft favorites, fans will find cream and fruit ales, mango wheats, German style Kölsch, rosé cider and local IPA
  • Fans can order wine by the bottle served in a souvenir Cubs carafe or sample a rotating selection of seasonal varietals thanks to an expanded partnership with Terlato Wines

There are also three new “club” areas. Two of them are underground, the W Club and the Maker’s Mark Barrel Room, each with their own menus and vibe. The Catalina Club will be just under the press box and is the only new area where you can actually watch the game without a TV.

Have fun, Cubs fans!
