Happy Hour…At the Children’s Museum?!

On a normal day, if I saw someone pounding some beers at the DuPage Children’s Museum, the cops would soon be involved. But not this Saturday!

I’m not sure if this is the first time they are doing this, or if I’ve just been missing out for a long time, but the super popular kids destination is opening their doors for adults only this Saturday for what they call Happier Hour: Friendsgiving.

They open their doors sans children at 7:00 p.m. and for just $45 per person you get:

  • Exhibit Challenges – Are you as smart as a five-year-old?
  • Crushed It Competition – Loosely based on the hit series Nailed It!
  • Seriously Silly Photo Ops – Insanely Instagrammable
  • Get Your Craft On – Gifting Makerspace
  • Artisan Market – Unique & local vendors
  • All Food, Drink, & Fun Included – You bring the friends

Now this is something I can get behind! My inner nerd would be on full display, aided of course by a little liquid courage.

Tom Sullivan from the museum appeared on the morning show with Danielle Tufano today. You can listen to that interview for a lot more information in the video above.

Obviously, this is a 21 and over event. I’m trying to clear my schedule, but if you go and I’m not there, please send photos!
