Hard To Believe It’s Been 28 Years
Hey, it’s Chris Miles and on this date in 1991, we lost Freddie Mercury! It is hard to believe it has been 28 years since he passed, but his band and music lives on.
With 15 studio albums, countless tours, and now a motion picture depiction of his life and times with Queen (simply titled “Bohemian Rhapsody”), Freddie Mercury has certainly attained “legend” stats.
Freddie penned 10 of 17 songs on Queen’s Greatest Hits album. They include “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody To Love”, “We Are The Champions”, “Bicycle Race”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Under Pressure” and “Play The Game”.
In celebration of his life, we will be playing some of your favorite Queen Hits today. My favorite is “Flash” from the motion picture Flash Gordon. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I do.
Which Queen song is your favorite?
