Hi, this is Leslie Harris, and one of my favorite things about this time of year is all of the Halloween activities, and Morton Arboretum has some of the best!
The whole place is decked out in pumpkins and other fall decor. My favorite is the Scarecrow trail around meadow Lake. The scarecrows are made by local scout troops, and they are so creative!
Of course, there’s no better place to see the glorious fall colors then the Morton Arboretum.
And this weekend is extra special because they are having their annual glass pumpkin sale. These glass pumpkins are spectacular and whimsical. Pick up one of these one-of-a-kind pieces of art, this weekend only. The sale is today and tomorrow.
Admission is by timed reservation only.
