Hey, the Hoodlums Changed my Channel Again!

There’s a sentence you don’t hear anymore!  Remember back in the day you could hide in your neighbor’s bushes and change their television channel?!?!  All you needed was a cable remote–Everyone had the same one back then…and you could turn off Murder She Wrote and switch it to MTV.  (Back then they even played Music on MTV!!)  I was thinking about this when I found an old episode of Married with Children the other night.  Growing up I was watching the tv show in Detroit, Michigan and did not realize the beginning of the show was filmed in Chicago.  Who knew that I would live here now and I would be safe from having hoodlums change the show 30 years later…wait, this show is terrible…where are the hoodlums?!?!
