Holiday Baking – Yay or Nay?

Hi, this is Leslie Harris. Have you started your holiday baking yet? A friend of mine makes hundreds of cookies and started a couple of weeks ago! I mean, it wasn’t even Thanksgiving yet!

I like to bake, but I never seem to have enough time to bake as many cookies as I would like.

We have three standard cookies that cannot go unbaked during our holiday season –  seven layer bars, peanut blossoms, and almond crescents. The Almond crescents go way back in my family. It’s an almond shortbread cookie, and I remember as a kid, we had to make a rule that no one could eat the dough, because we would eat so much dough that there wouldn’t be enough left for cookies!
