How Adventurous Are You?

Hi, Leslie Harris filling in for Nick today. A friend of mine recently moved to Belize. Belize, y’all! It sounds so exotic, so adventurous!

Now she is a single, middle-aged woman, no kids. She does have a dog and a cat, who she brought with her. She’s been posting pictures on social media, and I gotta say, she looks happier than she has in a long time.(the dog and cat look pretty happy too)

A lot of my friends tell me they think I’m adventurous. I’m always driving into the city (and sometimes even to another state) to go to a concert or play. But this is a whole different level.

The truth is, I feel a little bit like a chicken. I have never traveled by myself unless it was going to visit a friend or family number. I cannot even imagine moving to another country by myself! (By the way, I’m not planning on doing that anytime soon, especially since I am married!) But, I’m just kind of blown away by my friend’s courage.

I’m thinking that I may need to step out of my comfort zone. Maybe I’ll take a trip by myself just to see what it’s like.
